Corrections & Disputes
We want every grade to be right. If you think something on Agent Safety Score is wrong, out of date, or unfair, here's how to tell us and what happens next. This process is open to everyone, whether or not you're a vendor, sponsor, or subscriber.
What you can ask for
- Correction: a note, score, or label doesn't match the cited source, or the source has changed.
- New evidence: a control exists but isn't in the docs we read. Send a public link (product docs, security page, official repo, or release notes for a stable build).
- Vendor response: you're the vendor and want a short statement shown on your tool page, even if we don't change the grade.
- Removal of personal information: anything that names a private individual.
How to send it
Use the submit form (answer "Yes" to "Are you the vendor?" if you are), or email [email protected] with the subject "Correction:" followed by the tool name. Include:
- The tool page URL and the cell or sentence you're disputing.
- What you think is wrong.
- A public link that shows the correct information. We grade only from public sources, so private documents can explain context but can't change a score by themselves.
What happens next
- We review every correction request.
- If you report a clear factual error, such as a misquote, a wrong date, or the wrong product, we fix it as soon as we can confirm it. We don't wait for a full review.
- If we change a grade or note, the tool page shows the new last-checked date.
- If we don't change it, we reply with the reason and the sources we relied on.
Vendor responses
A vendor can ask us to publish a response of up to 500 characters on its tool page, labeled "Vendor response" and dated. We publish it unless it's abusive, makes claims about other companies, or contains advertising. A response doesn't change a grade. Only public documentation does.
Appeals
If you disagree with our decision, reply with any new public evidence and ask for a second look. We review every appeal and reply with our reasoning.
What we won't do
- Change a grade because someone paid, sponsored, threatened, or asked nicely. Sponsors use this same process.
- Remove accurate, sourced information because it's unflattering.
- Publish your private correspondence without permission. We may say "the vendor contacted us" and summarize public evidence.
