Sponsor Terms
These terms apply when you ("Sponsor") buy a sponsor placement from BitssyBytes ("we"), which runs Agent Safety Score. By purchasing a placement, you agree to these terms and to our Terms of Use, which are linked next to the checkout button on our sponsor page. If you're buying for a company, you confirm you're authorized to bind it.
1. What you're buying
The number of weeks of the single sponsor placement shown at checkout, made up of the sponsor card on the home page and a short sponsor line on tool pages (never next to a grade). While newsletter sends are paused, placements don't include a newsletter block. When sends restart, placements running at that time also get a sponsor block in each Friday newsletter sent during their weeks. The price is as shown at checkout. We don't guarantee any number of impressions, clicks, subscribers, or results. The site and newsletter are small and new.
2. Editorial independence
Sponsorship never affects grades, notes, review dates, review speed, or what we publish about any company, including you. We may publish a lower grade, an incident label, or critical coverage of your product during your run. That isn't grounds for a refund. If we grade your product, your tool page carries a permanent line saying you sponsored us and when.
3. Labeling
Every placement says "Sponsored", sits apart from grades, and its links carry rel="sponsored nofollow". You may not ask us to remove or soften the label.
4. Ad content rules
Your creative (name, headline, body, button, link, logo) must:
- be truthful and not misleading, with substantiation available for any objective claim;
- not mention, imply, or display any Agent Safety Score grade, rank, or endorsement, or our name or logo, except as we place it;
- not make security, safety, or compliance claims ("unhackable", "SOC 2 certified", etc.) unless you can document them on request;
- not promote gambling, adult content, weapons, crypto token sales, malware or spyware, surveillance of individuals, or anything illegal where the ad will be seen;
- not infringe anyone's trademark, copyright, privacy, or publicity rights;
- link to a safe https page that matches the ad and doesn't auto-download software.
We add UTM tags to your link. We may make minor formatting edits. Anything else we'll ask you about first. We send a preview before anything goes live.
5. Approval and refusal
We can reject any sponsor or creative, before or during the run, for any reason, including reasons not listed above. If we reject before your run starts, you get a full refund. If we remove your placement during the run, you get a full refund.
6. Booking, cancellation, and refunds
- You choose a preferred start week and two backups, and we confirm one by email. If none is free, we offer the next open week or a full refund.
- Cancel before your first week begins for a full refund.
- After your first week begins, there are no refunds except as stated in sections 5 and 7.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe.
7. Make-good days
If the site or your slot is unavailable for more than 24 hours during your run, we add the same time at the end of the run. If a newsletter send that was part of your placement doesn't go out, we include your block in the next send. Make-goods are your only remedy for downtime or missed sends.
8. Your materials and license
You keep ownership of your materials. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, resize, and format them on the site and in the newsletter for your run, and to keep them in archived newsletter issues and our sponsor history.
9. Your promises
You confirm that you have the rights to everything you send, that your ad and landing page comply with applicable law (including advertising, privacy, and consumer protection law), and that your product is legal where it's advertised.
10. Indemnity
You'll defend and indemnify BitssyBytes against third-party claims arising from your materials, your landing page, or your product, including reasonable legal fees.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid for the placement. Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits.
12. Payments and data
Stripe processes payment. We receive your name, email, company or tool name, website, and the ad details you send, and use them only to run your placement, contact you, and keep business records. See our Privacy Policy.
13. Other terms
These terms, the checkout page, and our Terms of Use are the whole agreement for the placement. Governing law, venue, and dispute terms are those in the Terms of Use. We may update these terms for future bookings. Your booking stays under the version in effect when you purchased.
